Default A Clinton political nightmare!!!!!!!!!

Last night I had the strangest dream. It was so real, so life-like and so vivid I woke up in a cold sweat. Let me describe it to you briefly...

1. Hillary wins the Democratic Party nomination for President of the United States

2. Naturally, she wants to choose as her running mate someone with a lot of knowledge and experience in government and foreign affairs, someone who is a seasoned campaigner who could bring a lot of strength to the ticket. Who better than Bill, her husband?!!!

3. Hill and Bill go on to win the election in November and the Democrats maintain control of the House and the Senate.

4. Hillary is sworn in as President on January 20, 2009. The next day, after all the inauguration parties are over, she calls a press conference to make an

announcement: she is resigning as President!!! Bill, as the Vice President, immediately becomes President!!! This is all perfectly legal under the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, for it states that 'no person may be elected as president more than twice'. Bill is not being elected for a third term but is merely serving out the remainder of Hillary's term---all 4 years of it.

5. But wait! There's more! The following day Bill calls a press conference to make an announcement. He has chosen someone to fill the now-vacant office of Vice President. Guess who he picks? Why, Hillary, of course!!! And she would still be able to run for president again!!!

Could this be a possibility?

Wake up, Bronco. Remember it's Hillary. She would never do that.

Yeah, I don't buy it.

Hillary to "power" is like a starving pit bull to a butcher shop. Her marriage is fabricated anyway. She'd just as soon as kill the rapist, before relinquishing her control over the greatest country on Earth.

There's about as much chance as Bush being president in Feb 09 as there is of the oval office being turned into a sordid sex den.

Bill looks fairly gaunt these days, cant see him wanting to be doing much, though as president of the senate his mug would be on TV more than few people would like.

Team Hillary will be the same buddies that Bill had in his cabinet.

Bill would be better than Hilliary! And regardless of what party you favor, he was 10 times better than Bush. If Hilliary is to win I would prefer Bill to take over. It won't happen, but it would be better.

It reminds me a bit of the story Air America likes to propogate that Bush will declare some kind of national emergency and not relinquish power when his term ends.

12thMan is right. If Hillary were to become prez----her first point of order would be to send Bill so far out of the country as she possibly could. I think he'd be named as Ambassador of some far-away country, so he wouldn't steal her limelight.

Default sorry billie

if you are spending your nights dreaming of hillary then you have problems to deal with that are much larger than the mere transfer of presidential power
