Default Maine Democratic caucus

If my municipality is any indication, Maine will strongly favor Obama. Well over 2 to 1 preferred Obama in my town.

CNN is saying that the exit polls are running very close so your muni must not be diferent. I don't want to know which town but are you near the coast // are you near Portland, Bangor, Augusta, Waterville ? You obviously do not have to tell.

I know some parts of Maine were I have gone hunting and fishing were only 1 10 would vote for the 'Colored ' guy.

Funny you should say that. My husband said the same thing and I said, " aren't those people registered Republicans?

I live on the mid- coast. People who are motivated to spend half a day at a caucus tend to be middle aged so I expected Hillary to have more support. Also, we got 10 -12 phone calls from the Hillary campaign this weekend and none from Obama. There is a lot of energy in favor of Obama.... and I am a delegate now! Yikes

Default Obama Takes Maine

Obama defeats Clinton in Maine caucuses

By GLENN ADAMS, Associated Press Writer

AUGUSTA, Maine - Barack Obama defeated Hillary Rodham Clinton in Maine presidential caucuses Sunday, grabbing a majority of delegates as the state's Democrats overlooked the snowy weather and turned out in heavy numbers for municipal gatherings.

Ooops. Poor Hillary.
