Well, at very least, welfare doesn't leave the economy. they get the money, they buy things, and the companies actually get more. there are many better things to "stimulate" the economy, but it does a good job. of course, at what point does economic growth stop and the dollar begin to inflate past it?

I didn't say they where much different.... just that he's worse.

Look at their various comments about Exxon..she bashes (with substance even if its fallacious).......he bashes (without substance) and declares they owe us.
A private Company in the USA does not owe everyone because they make a profit..thats socialist/communist thinking and while she likes it he LOVES it.

This isn't free enterprise. It's old-fashioned-liberal tax, and spend, and regulate. It's plain ol' big government. The only people who will benefit are the central planners in Washington.

instead of borrow and spend we will change to tax and spend

yes, the affluent will pay a greater share of the taxes. since they enjoy a greater share of the prosperity is that so unfair?

i think i recall hearing that most of the dems that are well off financially tend to vote for obama over hillary.

yes. it's called punishing the hard worker. politicians are the ones that should be punished.

Tax the Rich..the carpign cry of the Young che guevera t-shirt wearing leftist collegic type whose WEALTHY parents where/are footing his/her bills.

"Raise taxes on the Wealthy!"...shall I laugh at you now or after you are counting your change and wondering when you became wealthy.

Only people who would not be taxed more under Obama or Hillary are those at least 30 years dead.

Whose money has President Bush been spending for the last 7 years? It never ceases too amaze me how Repubs want to accuse Dems for tax and spend and then Repubs turn around and do the same thing. Sounds alittle hypocritical too me.

Repubs controlled the WH and both Houses of Congress for 6 years how much smaller did the Gov't get in those 6 yrs?

How much money was put back into the taxpayers pockets during that time frame?

So for the sake of arguement if Sen. Obama does spend it will be no different than what we have seen for the last 7 yrs and you aren't complaining about it.

Whatever Bush's tax cuts amounted too, which was substantial enough to halt the Clinton/Gore recession.
