Default News flash here!

It can only increase hatred of the US, UK and others as the terrorists can easily portray us as dishonest, criminal and aggressive to Arabs. A great recruiting tool.
********
They have always hated us only we didn't it know it back then. Everyones (other Countries) opinions are now on the table due to the ruckus GWB has made. Those people have disliked us way before GWB came into office.

Default Leave them stew in their own dishonesty.

And besides, there is evidence that the French and Germans were skimming funds from the "oil for food" program under Saddam - do we want to invite them back in again?
********
Oh i only wish voters would research the facts before making decisions. This is a very good point you have made. For all of the skeptics out there regarding the problems that surround GWB, stop and ask yourself WHY??? And while you are asking yourself why people dislike GWB think about all of the events that have taken place over his four years in office. Would you honestly be able to take an alternative path to his. Sure i guess that i may have handled a thing or two differently than him, i don't agree with all of his policies but he is trying and he has the safety of the American people as number one . How can you ask for more than that? Why did the French send Lawyers to help defend Saddam. WHAT? Help defend a dictator who has killed hundreds of thousands of his own people? Are they crazy? Thats a big fat NO! They have something to hide and don't want the rest of the world to know what it is ... Same thing with Russia, Germany etc. I bet they are all sitting there waiting for the sh!t to hit the fan all compliments of GWB. GWB has called their hand, is it any wonder why they hate him? Not to me.

Default Bush wins repubublicans pick up house and senate seats

I thought the Democratic national Convention was well done. Barak Obama has a lot to offer his party and thought his speech was the best. Kerry's biggest problem is that his positons change with events and bushes remain constant despite them. From the friends and family I know, the only reason they may vote for kerry is that they oposed the war in Iraq, and he his not bush. The speeches from the democratic convention were quite hawkish. Correct me if someone knows better, but the democrats platform endorses pre- emtive foreign policy. The only real anti war choice is Ralph Nader.

Does anyone know how to get invited to a party convention , I want to pop balloons.

I agree with you here. I think that he was one of the very few bright spots at that convention. I hope to see and hear more of him in the future.

Default Bush VS Kerry

the only reason they may vote for Kerry is that they opposed the war in Iraq, and he his not bush.
*********
Which seems to be what alot of Americans are doing. Think about what you are saying. They plan to vote for Kerry only because he is not Bush? What makes them so sure that they wouldn't be jumping out of the pan into the fire by doing such a thing. From what i have seen of Kerry's record this Country is going to be in bad shape if he gets elected. I shudder at the very thought of that wishy washy man becoming our next President and surely hope that it doesn't happen. The very last thing i want is to become nicey nicey to the French after Kerry bends on one knee and apologizes for Americas bad behavior. Yeah, right. I would rather be tortured.

Guess the french will have to go back making great Wine, since oil and military contracts with Sadams government are probably null and void now.

Default Benefits of rebuilding Iraq

All i can say is that if making /selling wine is all they are good for, let them keep doing it and get the heck out of our faces. In Kerry' speeches he keeps referring to getting international help to rebuild Iraq, but where were they when the dirty work needed to be done? I agree with GWB in this instance. Only the Countries involved are the ones who should benefit from the rebuilding. What did those Countries sacrifice? Absolutely nothing, and yet they are looking for rewards? Not fair at all to me.

Default Lame speeches by Kerry.

Do you see how lame this Kerry guy is? He stood there giving a speech about pro war efforts like he was speaking to a Republican Party therefore alienating his own Democratic party that was in the room!!!? He will say and do anything to seal the deal, just depends on which side of the fence he happens to be standing on at the time. How can you trust someone like that? Is he so ashamed of his own views that he has to say what everyone else wants to hear? No thanks, the guy is to weak for me. I want a strong leader who believes in what he is saying from his heart, even if i don't agree with everything he says or does. At the very least GWB shows determination in what he believes and won't let the rest of the world tell him any different. Now that we can count on.

Default your so right

Yes your so right. Did you read the front page of USA today today. Kerry got no bounce typical of most conventions. I believe it was a USA today CNN pole showing him losing a percentage point. He did worse than Mcgovern in 1973. Despite all the bush-bashing right now and maybe because of, I think 04 is a Republican year.

your right on kerry, he cant pull a Clinton

Default Hope is on the way!!!!

Hope is on the Way! John Edwards repeating the WORD hope, many times during his speech at the DNC. I believe that everyone realises, that we all can Hope, but accomplishment & success are what we all seek.

These two John's, in their years of service, have yet to "accomplish" anything of substance that they can stand firm on. That is why, John Edwards gave the "hope" speech.

Of course, not forgetting that John Kerry served in active duty in Viet Nam, for a total of 3-1/2 months & recieved 3 purple hearts. "A war hero?" Which in truth, one was so slight that the doctor removed a small splinter & then promptly applied a bandaid. John Kerry demanded a purple heart for that, & then after 3, you're home free with no going back.

In reality, the Kerry/Edwards campaign have enlisted "hope" as a new language to add to the below languages that they have frequently & still do speak. They are:

1. Pessimism.
2. Failure.
3. Defeat.
4. Hate.
& now HOPE.
