Default McCain: "No New Taxes"

"Spending restraint is why our base is not energized," he said. "I think it's very important that we send a signal to the American people we're going to stop the earmark pork-barrel spending." John McCain

In other words, he believes it's the spending; not the lack of revenue coming into the federal gov't that is the problem. On this....I am with him 100%.

The Dem Majority promised to end pork-barrel projects in order to win in 2006---and they have NOT fulfilled that promise. As president, I think McCain would by vetoing the bills.

McCain has not been conservative on certain issues, but he has always been fiscally conservative. I am behind him all the way on controlling government spending. Both Dems offer nothing but massive increases in the size of government.

Yay! Less taxes means less money for those idiots in DC to cause trouble with.

Maybe next time they'll think twice before wanting to spend a gaggillion tax dollars and the next hundred years nationbuilding some muslim and jewish holes in the middle east.

If you take a look at earmarks honestly you will find McCain has $0 earmarks.

Obama took over 93 million in 2007 alone...and requested a total of more than $320 million.....
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/...e=search_story

Hillary makes Obama look like a newb with her $1,209,611,755

Earmarks
Links etc in that post.

McCain has made clear he will try not to raise taxes if he can.
Obama has made clear he will raise taxes no matter what while lying about only doing it to the "wealthy"..aka as everyone.
Oh and don't forget the massive new social program he and she will apply to the naiton" Universal Healthcare" on top of the Social Security mess the Democrats appaluded themselves for not doing anything about.

Obama and Hillary for that matter like to shade their massive tax increases etc with the word "invest"..

McCains Honest
..the other two "words" are about as worthwhile as one square of toilet paper.

John McCain has called for George W. Bush's tax cuts to be made permanent. And that's a good thing! All the parts of the tax plan are now phased in-----and I just did my taxes and discovered I'm paying the lowest effective tax rate EVER!! Thank you George W. Bush!!! And I'm a retiree in the 15% tax bracket; not one of the "evil" rich that the Dems like to demonize. Obama and Hillary both want to change that.
