Default Ralph Nader spoiler again

Usually Nader takes votes from Dems. But now since McCain has independent and Dem support, Nader will probably pull votes from both McCain and Dem nominee.

Although I don't think its likely that Nader will pull votes from Hillary.

Actually, if you listened to some of the issues Nader is concerned about as summarized on Meet the Press today, he has good points. But he also could probably never get enough votes to win.

Don't worry. He's only wanting a few more minutes of air time to spout his very liberal views. There will NOT be ANY Republicans voting for him.

He almost always has good points. Unfortunately for him, he's frigging dreaming if he thinks anyone will vote for him. The best thing he could do would be to force the remaining viable candidates to talk about things they don't want to talk about, then bow out. One thing that his being in the race does is recalibrate who the insiders are versus those outside the beltway. My guess: Hurts Obama more than anyone.

Nader will pull less votes away from the Dems this time because Obama is seen as a more honest candidate compared to the Clintons and Gore.

But expect to see many libertarians and some conservatives voting for the Libertarian Party or Constitution Party candidate. McCain will not hold all of the conservative vote.

I can't see it hurting McCain because I can't see anything McCain and Nader have in common. Any other 3rd party candidate would be different. In any case, I doubt if it would be enough to turn the election in any state. Can anyone think of a single purple state where he might make a difference?

This guy's still alive? How old is he anyway? I'd like to know, so I can calculate the rest of the times this idiot is gonna run for president. What a joke.

You could probably look at the records and see where he polled best in 2000 and maybe that would give an indication. It will be interesting to see if even Nader's fans will be taken by the Obamamania magik.

72 years young.

Hey, we're all going to be there before you know it! Young people who always talk about older people, crack me up. Its like they think somehow they will never age. I love it when they do!
