Religion by itself is bigoted.

The Church believes that - most reasonable Christians like myself do not.

ok thats nice.

But in the mean time, millions of Americans have lived with presidents whose christian Church's official policy is that all non believing Americans will be sent to hell.

On a side note, I'm outraged at my own hometown pastor who has ousted the principal of the adjoining catholic school (deacon of the parish I used to attend) who had been there for 40 years. He educated my brother (he's 35 now), my cousins (one of which is a physician, the other a bank manager), me and my closest friends. He married my wife and me and has always been a friend and helping hand to anyone that approaches him. Now this priest that was installed a few years ago, who does not like this man for some reason, has decided to fire him basically, kicking him out of his house along with his two adopted sons from Brazil. Meanwhile the Bishop, that happens to live a block away, is ignoring the whole thing. The Catholic Church makes me sick sometimes with the bureaucracy and infighting that occurs sometimes because of someone who is in my opinion jealous and narcissistic. It makes me happy that I keep my faith based on the core values that Catholicism is supposed to espouse, but angry that the leadership does not hold those same values. Sorry for the rant, but I had to get this out.
