I'm not sure what the connection between her and Obama is other than the fact that they are both democrats from Illinois. The reason I posted the Bean invitation is because I think it is wrong, not to mention illegal, for a foreign government to raise money for an American politician. The fact that it is the Serbians doing it to reward Bean for her anti-kosovo stances just makes it worse in my eyes.

No. Actually it's pretty well established that they can. There are rules and such but there it is.

It's up to the voters to pay attention to such things (well and for those in the media or at least the opposing party to point them out).
