Not that the lying bastards would tell anyone their true motives for hating us which is that we are a barrier to them acheiving there goals of establishing Islamic states with themselves at the helms of power. Not only do they not have a true religious motivation, but a selfish motive of elevating themselves to positions of power in the Islamic world.

Now I am amazed that you sometimes can come up with a beauty of a statement that I can actually agree with!

Did the US government push AIDS on the black community? You have got to be kidding, that is the most asinine comment I have ever heard.

Your question SBB, is as stupid as asking if our white population is smarter than the black population, is there any truth to that?

Don't defend hate, it really makes you look the fool.
Wright was angry, and spoke out of that anger. He wasn't hateful. When he said America, he meant certain people in it, not the country itself. I mean, come on, he's American. It's a shame. Not many people should care much about Wright's quote, I mean that kind of stuff is everywhere. I think he said the right thing, just in the wrong way. You just can't use "America" and a negative word in the same sentence, either way you slice it. One more thing, I'm proud to be an American, but not simply because it's America. I'm proud to be an American because it gave me birth, and I love what it stands for: Unity, democracy, peace, and freedom.

Note: You're right about the Aids thing; that's quite a silly assumption. But, honestly though, can you say that this country's government has never done anything asinine?

If we are ever going to heal the racial divide in this country we must begin holding everyone, black or white or whatever, to the same standard.

Let's face it, had a white man said the things Wright has said but about blacks there would be people in the streets with torches and pitchforks. Look what happenned to Don Imus last year. Al Sharpton was in a frenzy over that but funny I have not seen him comment on Wright. The left bends over backwards to cut people like Wright slack and it's just plain wrong.

Wrights words run the bases. He covers everything. Reverse Racism, anti Americanism, anti semitism, conspiracy theories, etc. Not to mention his association with Farrakahn.

For Obama to stand by this man after calling for Imus to be fired last year shows us where he really stands.

Couldn't agree more, Wright said many hateful things. Out of this has come some things Obama himself said about racism in America that certainly makes one wonder how he is fit to heal the racial divide. If Imus is going to be called to task then Wright needs to be even more so since what he said is far worse. Obama has taken different sides in Wright vs Imus and needs to be called on it.

I can't help but laugh at the vacuous nature of the entire speech on race yet the Obama kool-aid crowd would have you believe that this band-aid of a speech has resolved the problem for him and it is now in the past. Wrong!

That's exactly what they deceive themselves into.

I heard last night Rev. Wright appearances at a Florida christian conference ,which is a huge, annual affair, were cancelled, they were concerned about security.

What a way for obama to unify the country, huh? His own pastor's appearances were canceled because of his incendiary comments that are stirring animosity and threats to the security of the whole conference.

And barack is showing no regret over it either, just explains why Wright thinks like he does, and why it's justified.

heh, that's the truth. According to Obama, Imus should lose his job but Wright shouldn't. There's that darn double standard again.

I'd never heard of this Wright bloke - but I read his speech today.

It all looked pretty spot on to me. Sure, the AIDS thing was dumb - but apart from that - everything else he said was reasonable.

Obama should feel no need to disown the bloke. I would have a lot more respect for a US President that would stand up for what Wright is saying.
