I actually would like to see Obama beat Hillary, because even though I would vote for neither, I am confident a democrat will win. What bothers me, is the hateful and divisive comments that this guy preaches from the pulpit regularly, and it is what continues to make our nation a place of 'them and us' perceptions, not to mention the goofy comments from Obama's wife, she obviously heard this preacher. He is no different than Jackson, Sharpton, or Farrakhan, hate speech fills their pockets with cash.

All I can say is if I heard my pastor or even fellow colleague say ONE of those comments Obama's pastor said that would be the END of my association with them. As adults we have choices to make. We can choose who we hold close and who we distance ourselves from. In the interview where Obama was "condeming" his pastor I heard him make more excuses for him trying to justify all the good things his pastor had done. Guess what? Racists are often perfectly nice and generous to their own kind. the fact he helped out poor african american children means nothing to me if he is spouting off pure hate about the jews and the white people of this country!! Imagine if this was a church saying these types of things about black people! My goodness are we back in the 60's?

As a fellow minority I completely abhor hate speech against whites, blacks, hispanics, arabs, jews etc. We are all equal! To say there is a white conspiracy that is purposefully keeping us down only makes it true in your head and then you only have yourself to blame. The FIRST TIME he head his pastor make these remarks he should have RUN RUN RUN. Now it is clear the ONLY reason he is making the apologies is because he has been found out.

I am not saying that it is or it isn't. I have heard many people speak about Rev. Wright's sermon.

The question shouldn't be are there ANY truths. It should be are they ALL true. If you think the government gave AIDS/HIV to black people to kill them all, then you and I just have a difference of opinion. If you think that because the country has made bad decisions in the past and it deserves to be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed, then there again is a difference between you and I. Do I think that there are still racist people out there? of course.. whites that dont like blacks, black's that dont like whites etc. I refuse however to be victim and blame an ENTIRE CLASS of people for the ignorance of a few. I was called a spic by my kindergarten teacher and other stuff i'll keep to myself and i'm not that old!!
