My post is what Obama has been basing his faith and values on for the last 20 years. That comes from the guy who started his church and Wright the recent pastor, you know, Obama's good friend and confidant.

That kind of rhetoric has no place in the president of the United States, and you would be a fool to think Obama has such poor judgement not to know what his church's basic values are, and that is to destroy the white man.

The left wing nut jobs call this an attack from his opponents, I call it an eye opening revelation, because I actually thought Obama would have been good for our nation, and bring to rest the ugliness of racist ideas, I was wrong.

So far, I have calculated the total independent vote for democrats vs republicans in New York (typically "blue" state) and Virginia (typically "red" state) and democrats are winning over independents 2 to 1, according to the exit polls from cnn. I will post the full results when I get them.

The General election hasn't happenned.

Applyign nomination process vote sizes to General Election outcomes has historically been shown to be pretty pointless.

I'm not trying to correlate democratic primary turnout with democratic gen election turnout - I'm saying that McCain will not defeat a 2 to 1 advantage in independent voters in less than one year. If anything, courting the conservative vote will skew it even more, considering the fallout people have had with the GOP in the past few years. Moreover, I'm also debating the point that the independent phenomenon only involves democrats and liberals. The independent voters are voting more frequently for a democratic candidate than a republican one. The analysis in the link is flawed. It says that while Clinton had it easy, Dole had a protracted battle. Well, now McCain has it easy and Democrats are experiencing the protracted battle. Not only that, the Dems still have a lead in the votes. Each presidential race is unique, and this year is no exception. Comparing it to previous election years will not help your argument.
