I just don't get it. This post seems almost like an oxymoron. If you want to just sputter out Liberal=brainwashed it doesn't leave much room for discussion (It would make a better E-mail to your buddies). Then again it is funny since the title then the automatic knee-jerk reaction answer in the description does little to aid you in any real credibility. Much like Richard Clarke I would think you are peddling some agenda since it is right there in the heading. So if you ask me "Who is brainwashed in this country" I would have to answer "you". This seems like a loaded question. Maybe I'll start a post that says "Who is brainwashed in this country" Conservatives. I just think it would yield some remarks much like this one. Just a thought.

The liberals who are so intent on enforcing their ideals and positions as "correct" are the ones who are the single biggest threat to intellectual growth in the US right now...the conservatives may have been at one time but there is such a huge rut out there in the colleges and in the democratic circles which we need to break out of...yeah, teach evolution but also teach people to think critically about it - there are lots of interesting questions about it - instead of just the same "this is what you have to think because we government worker types all approve of it" nonsense...not to change the subject but just to make an illustration..

I don't think the Republicans are particularly enlightened...


what is needed is a party that will embrace socially liberal concepts, privacy rights, and bring back the bill of rights but downsize the govmint and stop giving handouts to all the trailer queens - male or female, individual or business - that are used to being subsidized by workers...Arguably there are several parties that fit - I registered libertarian -

people should make their vote count and vote for whatever party and candidate best support their position and not just follow party lines...
