I heard him talk about his Grandmother, but when did Obama say anything about his mother.

I think only you got that message.

Uh oh you called Obama boy! "You must be a racist." See how easy it can be to misunderstand someone elses verbage. Eventually if you pick apart everything someone says you could find something inflammatory, even if unintended.

I imagine that is true, and there is good reason for it. So when Obama made the same claim about his Grandmother, why was there an implication that she was racist because of it?

Also, I have heard that Obama explained a little more of this story in one of his books. Supposedly his Grandmother was harassed by a black homeless man and she was fearful, apparently the real basis of the 'scared of black men' story. But Barack didn't bother to mention that part of it in his recent speech.......

Isn't Sen. Obama and his grandmother of the same race also?

Many people on these boards have yet to let us forget that he is half-white.
