Maybe Obama's Grandmother would consider herself a "typical white person"

Maybe someone should ask her whether or not she feels thrown under the bus.

Or maybe, just maybe President Bush really did want to start the crusades all over again or maybe he just used the wrong verbage.

You can't say what if because the two situations are completely different. Obama has the right to talk about his own family however he wants. I don't see his mother coming out with some statement denouncing Obama's speech. She knows what the point was he was trying to get across. McCain can't say his grandmother was a typical black person because she wasn't black to begin with. This is what people have to do to defeat Obama's points - stretch the truth and not analyze the point he's making. Rather, take everything out of context and then link it to Wright.
