Transcending race:

Some African American don't feel like Barrack Obama represents them. First, he does not speak about the large numbers of African Americans in prisons and the bias court system that put them in there. Second, I am proud of the fact that he is articulate, and inspirational, but a lot of us do not accept him because of the very fact that he sounds white. There is nothing wrong with him speaking softly and properly, but an African American male is require to have a lot more bass in his voice. I am not referring to talking in slang because there is an environment for it but his mannerism is pretty white. Third, he earns sums of money that some blacks will not see in their life time. It is this earning potential that some of us do not relate him. You should not discriminate because level of income, but...

You may be saying to yourself but African Americans vote for him large numbers. The votes are purely symbolic. We vote for him in large numbers because certain whites show that they could transcend race by voting for him, and African Americans want to push him over the top for that reason.

Here is my point. When Obama first enter the race for the democratic nominee and potential president of the U.S., many African American believed that Obama really did not have a chance in a white dominated government to win presidential nomination. We were thinking that he could not win the election against Hillary Clinton or John McCain. The white people in several state keep his candidacy in play. It shows that there are whites, who are willing to give him a chance. African American were riding the surf of hope but now white people has turned their back on him. Don't worry. We want turn our backs even if some of us do not have commonality with him. No matter how big your show get you will always come back to your roots.

A lof of whites are acting like African Amer.

Stereotypical jibberish, you act is if white people made these black people that are behind bars commit the crimes they have been found guilty of

Blacks overwhelmingly vote for Obama based on his skin color. If his pigmentation had come out the other half of his racial makeup they wouldn't give him the time of day.

Those who say that is a generalization fail to pay attention to the votes so far.
