If you have children you are responsible for clothing and feeding them. Is that punishment too? If you are employed you are responsible for completing your duties. Is that punishment? Just more excuse making for Obama.

I don't care how PC you make it, having a baby is a burden on the parents if they are not ready to have one. Moreover, making abortion illegal would increase the dangers of self-performed abortions, which would put the mother herself in danger. It would also increase the rate of orphaned, unwanted children, increase the rate of abused children, etc. You have to consider the child's life after birth and not just before. People will have unprotected sex whether abortion is legal or not.
