Yes! This is one of the reasons why they are trying to regulate it.

The sad thing about Rush: there are enough undereducated and intellectual impotent people in this country allow his who to make money. This clearly proves the devastating effect of a underfunded education system (the worst K-12 school system of any developed nation).
Anybody who needs to listen to a show to have their backwards opinions reaffirmed each day doesn't have much self-confidence or ability to think independently.

An independent study by Pew Research showed that the listeners of Rush and O'Reilly have the most intelligent and best informed radio and television audiences in the country. Limbaugh's audience is twice as smart as the national average. Quote:

Yeah, because the smartest people need to remind themselves of how smart they are.
Notably, you didn't choose last years survey, which finds Limbaugh listeners to be less informed and educated than NPR and Daily show viewers, respectively. http://people-press.org/reports/disp...3?ReportID=319 |

I love when liberals start whining about radio show hosts. They just refuse to believe that no one freely listens to liberal radio.
This is why liberals want that Farness Doctrine. It's not enough to try to promote their own liberal radio shows, or make them more appealing to listeners, they want to FORCE their way onto the ratings, and then call it "fair." Maybe if they wanted to get their views heard on the radio, they could take a tip from Uncle Saddam, about how to get people to "want" to listen to them... ![]()
