Why would people tune in just for commercials?

Radio shows strategically place the ads at the times when people are most likely to tune in, such as on the hour, and half hour.

What this means is that Rush is so popular that people won't even change the station during the ads, which is what making money in radio is all about.

For perspective: Limbaugh's ads are nearly 5 times as popular as Err America's ratings are in the liberal bastion of WLIB-AM New York, which averages a 1.2 share!

Ah, so they are not tuning in for commercials, they are changing stations and the dial happens to glide past Rush's show every half hour.

What a dopey statistic!

The last I heard, Rush Limbaugh has the most listened to radio talk show in the country.........I'm just sayin'......

So you think people deliberately tune into Rush's commercials and change the station when he starts broadcasting?

Many of Rush's commercials feature him as a spokesperson.....I'm just sayin'.....
