I thought Obama came off terrible the other night. It's becoming very obvious he is much better at performing pre determined speeches in front of crowds that love him.

If he can't stand the pressure now how long will it take the Republicans to make him tear up and leave the debate stage?
Hah that characterisation has always amused me- latte drinkers right? What nut-job came up with that as an attack? Has it ever, ever made any sense?

Tear up? What are you even taking about? It wasn't the best of debates, kinda boring for me as they agreed heaps and Clinton ignored the development of any contentious issues past their initial utterances, and hes a right to want to spend his time differently- we can see from Sue what he might be thinking, seeing as the debates are likely to be nastyish anyway.

So the Ayers thing...Ayers recieved whatever punishment was deemed appropriate, and went on to live his life. He has limited contact with Obama, and hasn't influenced him to...what end the Vietnam war by blowing up army supplies, so I'm not sure why anyone cares. Its just an excuse to associate 'Obama' with 'Terrorist' isn't it? Le /sigh.

Oh and if you want to know how to mischaracterise me, I don't drink coffee, but I do go to cafes, you know every now and then. Have fun with that.

What would more debates even accomplish at this point? First, they agree on 99% of the issues anyway, so it essentially comes down to who Democrats like more and/or think can win the general election. More debates isn't going to help in that regard.

I think most people were shocked that Stepanopolous and Gibson came after him hard---since Obama's had the soft glove treatment so far. Of course, there was also some coming after Hillary too---but for some reason the Obama supporters didn't notice that. IF he can't take some hard to answer questions, then he'd best just pull out now.

But what's really interesting is that it's looking more and more like this Dem thing is coming all the way down to the Super Delegates and a big fight at their convention. And if it ends up being taken away from Obama when he's got the most states, then they'll implode.

All in all----the Republicans couldn't be in a better place right now!!!!!!

i think a debate where the two got to ask questions of each other would be very revealing

How so? They agree on 99% of the issues! What would you like them to ask of one another?

All his associations with questionable people at the very least casts doubt on his judgement. The problem is that the people who support Obama is they SUPPORT Obama and think any question of his character or judgement is out of bounds. He's treated like a celebrity and not a candidate ( at least until this debate ). When he has to think quickly on his feet, he isn't so eloquent anymore.

What a baby. He's still complaining!

The first time he finally gets a real question, he runs around wah wah wah!

They were tough on me!

As Hillary said this am:

She said that the toughness of last night's debate pales in comparison to the challenges presented by life in the White House.

She said, ""We need a president who is going to be up there fighting every day for the American people and not complain about how much pressure there is, and how hard the questions are."

I can't stand Hillary, but she does have a very good point. If he thinks this is hard what happens if he's President?

It's like I was saying in my article, these are questions that need to be asked.

America is not a Socialist country, this is why the only democrats who ever win, are democrats who SOUND like Republicans (Hello Bill Clinton - Low taxes, Free Trade, Welfare Reform, Era of Big Government Over - Sounds Republican).
