Definition of gullible: The 28 percent of Americans who think Bush was a successful President.

Those of us who are well-read on geopolitics know the importance of having a strong communicator as head of the nation. In fact, the President really has no other job but to communicate.

For example, the Pentagon makes all the major geopolitical decisions. The Presidents job is to sell the Pentagon's decisions to the public, and get support from other nations to build a coalition. Obama will do a much better job of that than McCain, and therefore, our nation will be able to act more decisively, with more nations having our back.

The end result: America will be safer with a leader that can get American public and international backing, than a dud like Bush or McCain, who lack the charisma to build strong coalitions.

Obama has lost some major states. Obama can never win the White House. If democrats want to have the White House, they will have to Think about a Clinton-Obama Ticket or Clinton someone else. Republicans will fry Obama. Obama lost so big, this means that McCain will win PA. And thats it...

Just wait until Obama goes head-to-head with McCain; things will change. The educated and non-racist segment of the population (currently split between Hillary and Obama) will unite under Obama.

I realize many liberals and moderates, in the heat of the primary, claim they will not vote against McCain if their candidate fails to win the Democratic nomination. But mark my words: within a month after the DNC convention, voters will forget about the Clinton/Obama battle, and focus all their energy into bringing the KKK party (aka the GOP) down. They've already united to take over Congress, so why not the White House too?

Obama won a lot of states before some of his scandals were revealed such as :

1. 20 years listening to a racist preacher-

do you think he's not influenced?!; I recall his responose about his grandmother " A typical white person" - still pondering what that meant - majority of white folks find it disturbing

He's a good speaker, but not ready for a leader.

2. His radical abortion views. Bible Belt folks will make sure he doesn't make in the white house. Remember there are a few Supreme Court Judges that might retire/die during these upcoming 4 years. This is a very important mission for the conservatives.

3. He wants to invade Pakistan. LOL.
He contributed on blocking the expansion of NATO, by supporting Greece and leaving Macedonia out of it. If war erupts in Macedonia, Obama holds a responsibility for lobbying in senate a resolution on this case. Republicans will not forget this one.

4. His economical plan means more spending, larger spending. Worst than what you have right now. Universal healthcare? Government need to rely on people, not people on the government.
Not sure if people want to buy this one.
As I recall Germany and France are desperate to get rid of universal health care. It's crippling their economy. Young people have no inspiration to pursue an independent life.
Universal health care is doable for small countries that have strong economies like Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Luxenbourg- take your time to see their income.

5. Is any of them, Clinton, Obama, Mccain serious about resolving the issue of Iraq - withdraw or not? I haven't seen them speaking so seriously about this issue. Obama was not in the Senate when war began. It's a good advantage of him, perhaps. But, remember McCain is a moderate leader.

6. Clinton vs Obama has ruined the chance for democrats to win the white house by all means!


Now, my very personal opinion is:
Overall, Whomever wins, I am cool with it. Obama, Clinton or McCain will do a good job!

I still think it's a toss up. You've got a lot of racist people in this nation who will vote against Obama.

But there's also a lot of minorities and educated-whites who Obama will bring to the polls for the first time. Obama leads heavily with first time voters, which makes me believe that the key to an Obama victory is getting all those folks who are disenfranchised with the system to vote for the first time.

Never before has a non-white candidate competed in the general election, so we're charting new territory here. Hopefully (since I simply want what's best for my country), for every racist who votes for grandpa McCain, there will be a new minority voter (womens, non-white, gays, and all the other people who are tired of being blocked from high level political positions) who will cast their vote for Obama.
