Wait. Historical facts do not play any role in the current political events. And these facts are irrelevant to your aforementioned remarks towards GOP.

GOP is not racist. I am not sure where you are trying to go with this KKK thing. I never heard anyone speaking in this fashion. I find it disturbing.

If we want to build a healthy nation, we must be united.

If my comments came off as elevating racial tensions, that's not my purpose. I simply want leadership that will lead us towards a day where race is no longer an issue. While the Democrats have a long way to go, they're at least heading in that direction. The GOP, on the other hand, still excludes all non-whites from their major political processes, which disturbs the educated and open minded segment of our population.

I want some facts to prove that GOP is racist. Until then, you are debasing yourself more than anything else.

If you truly care about the future of this nation, these remarks don't contribute to no whatsoever cause to better our lives!

Allan Keyes ran for President in the GOP. A couple of times. Nobody blocked him.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is an Indian (India Indian) Republican. First in the Nation.

Michael Steele first black to serve in a public Maryland Statewide Office as Lt Governor. Republican. He lost his Senate bid in 2006 barely.

etc..
and thats not mentioning cabinet positions etc.....

Point being...

Name one non-white candidate in the 2008 GOP primaries. If you can't name any, than there's your first fact. A party that was open to all races would have AT LEAST ONE.

Bottom line: if you're NOT a racist and NOT a gay-hater, you wouldn't vote for a racist and gay-hating party (the GOP). There's really no way to rationalize voting for the GOP if you care about the well-being of people who don't fit the GOP-profile (Christian and white).

On top of that, the GOP also hates poor people. So if you're either poor, non-white, gay, or non-Christian, the GOP hates you.

There's too many facts to back up the above statement to bother arguing against it.

I'm not saying this to (*)(*)(*)(*) anybody off; but we should all be aware of what the GOP stands for before we allow them into office.

The GOP is the party of hate: so if you hate gays, immigrants, blacks, Asians, liberals, Muslims, women, communists, or the new hate-flavor of the week, you'll most likely cast your vote for the GOP candidate.
