As of now IF Florida and Michigan are included Hillary Clinton is ahead in the popular vote.

Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan.

There is no way that Michigan could ever be counted unless there was some kind of re-vote and that's not gonna happen. Florida, however, is a different story. I don't think they should count those votes because there was no campaigning there, which of course favors the candidate with name recognition (Hillary). That becomes a popularity contest and not an election. Although, there is a better chance of getting Florida counted than Michigan.

It is not fair to add Michigan votes to Clinton's vote tally because Obama recieved zero votes from that state. That gives her a net gain of 328,151 votes, when it might well have been in the triple digits.
