They've never mattered before. Why should I care about them now?

The anti-war libertarians will vote liberal. The Fiscal-conservative libertarians will either vote libertarian or GOP. Stekim is a hardcore fiscal-conservative libertarian, and he has stated several times he is voting McCain. I have no reason to believe he is the only one.


Then it looks like we wont fail.

Bush's baggage secured him two terms in office. I believe that McCain would have no problem doing some carrying.

Notice that the Huckabee supporters and the Paul supporters did not protest McCain by voting for Obama. They won't break party lines because as bad of a Republican the Huckguys think McCain is, they can at least see some Republican there. They can't see a shred of Republican in Obama. And the Paulguys are wannabe Perotguys. They think that they are making some difference, but they are not.

He most likely said "looks like" because regardless of our own aggregation of evidence, we cannot predict the future. Saying "looks like" was more honest than if he had not said it.


We are talking about a presidential race. Congressional races have their own texture that does not necessarily translate.

We have the exectuive branch, half the judicial branch and almost half of congress. Thats a little more than 27%.

He did that to me too for a while. He's a troll. That's the kind of stuff trolls do.

The bottom line is come November all or most of the Republican base will come home and vote for Mccain.

The real question is how many Democratic and Independent votes will Mccain be getting.

We all know he is gonna get a large amount.

We all know many Clinton supporters have already stated they will vote for Mccain over Obama if Hillary loses.

We already know Mccain has huge support in blue states and could very likely carry some states that Repuiblicans rarely if ever carry in Presidential elections. With guys like Joe Lieberman endorsing and campaigning for Mccain in places like CT. and other Dem strongholds the people that should be worried are the Democrats, Obamas people more specifically.
