The Candidate Obama claimed that race is not the reason he is not attracting working-class votes and further claims that " he can win over uncommitted superdelegates by showing he is "best able to not just defeat John McCain, but also lead the country." Well Barack my man you are either peeing on my leg and telling me it's raining or you are not cognizant of your environment !!! If either one of those two points of mine are true than you may not be the one to lead. Race is a factor even if it is not the total factor. Race is still an issue even in the North where we have kept it under the radar all of these years. Maybe you cannot be honest for political reasons but that jsut puts you into the ctach -22 position. You are either telling me a lie or you don't know what is going on. Which one is it ?

The problem is that when you look at the white vote and women, you're generally looking at a 10% spread. When you look at the black vote you are looking at 90%+ for Obama. The comparison is not even close.

The fact that an unproven, inexperienced candidate like Obama can command more than 90% of the black vote shows the level of racism that lurks on the side of blacks in this country.
Only for them it is perfectly acceptable to rally around a black candidate while if Hillary or Mccain got more than 90% of white voters liberal talking heads would be talking about how much more work we have to do to eliminate racism in this country. In a country inwhich blacks get their own tv channel (BET), their own magazine (Ebony), have their own awards shows, and even have organizations set up to look out specifically for them (NAACP) we should expect no less. the race issue is negligible. yeah, there are some people who cant see past race, but theyre a small minority, and people that usually hold those types of views wouldnt vote obama based on issues anyway. obamas gotten a lot of white votes, hes the front runner. blacks are still a minority in this country, believe it or not.
