So, the thread about poll results isn't about poll results?

You know Obama's had a month of bad publicity; he's being attacked from the left and right.

It's inevitable that his numbers will decline in that case.

Just as it's inevitable that his numbers will rise when he's only facing the guy who doesn't know the difference between sunnis and shiites, thinks the economic downturn is psychological, and doesn't mind driving the country further into debt to give the richest people in society another round of tax-breaks.

Obama is hemorrhagging his "ok maybe's". He wil ratain his far left , black base.

But he's lost any real chance of getting independents or moderate Democrats. Effectively he's done..he cannot win the General Election with his base.

The media can't save him either. The "greatest speech of all time" is now looking to be basically a load of BS.

Wright came out and proved beyond a doubt that Obama is full of crap and was hoping you where dumber then dirt.

Some of you will of course make mud pies and eat them..but the rest are done.

And btw, to Rebellion, it's exactly in response to the fatalist nonsense you now purport that I ever posted polls.

People here say "Obama's done" everytime he takes a dip.

Then he pops up, and suddenly polls aren't so important.

Im an Obama supporter but most definitely he is hurting right now, and I think that the Hillary supporters have alot of reasons to be optimistic right now.

I think its silly that the Reverend Wright controversy has had this effect. Its personally baffling to me beacuse I saw it as a non issue.

Biggest problem for lip sticked pig obama is convincing the remaining "supers" that he IS electable, that he can take MOST of Hillary's base with him , and that he can get the 25% of Hillary supporters to vote for him that say they would rather stay home or vote Mccain ! Truth is, the writing is on the wall and i have said it ever since this wright story broke , lip sticked pig has NO chance of winning the general now being totally unelectable and i am sure the "supers" see that clearly now ! Go Hillary !

look at the title of this thread, reb, the one that you began, the title you constructed:
OBAMA'S FALLING POLL NUMBERS
and then you comment:
This isn't about poll results

it appears you are speaking through two different orifices

Did you miss this word? Here, I'll underline it for you. trends So no it isn't about results, but trends. And falling poll results is exactly that, a trend. If you like I can link a dictionary for you and you can see what the word trend means? Let me know, I'm happy to help.

So, when he trends up again, you won't complain about the uselessness of polls?

Nope, what I complain about are poll results posted every day about who is leading. Which is where my quote about the uselessness of polls came about. Feel free to look that up. Which of course this poll is not about. So if you post a poll showing how Osama is now more liked, viewed positively, etc then nope won't complain.
