Your a smart guy and im sure you follow all the election coverage as carefully as I do....

So its funny that you would act like the Obama supporters are somehow less intelligent than others when you know that all the polling and data shows that Obama is dominating among the electorate with college educations.

Actually it is Hillary that is getting the "dumb" vote if you want to be exact.

ANd no im not calling non college grads dumb, just saying her supporters are less educated. I love going to college and have learned alot, but I understand there is also a difference between book and street smarts.

The only reason Obama is getting college votes is because most people in this category are liberal and more than likely clueless when it comes to these things. You can be dumb as a brick and still make it through college. People in this category are also easily swayed by a candidate who makes it look like he is only positive.

I wasn't aware that African Americans comprised the highest spectrum of intelligence in this country???? That is his core.

Superdude--I was simply pointing out that he gets more votes from College GRADUATES than any other candidate.

Therefore not all of his voters are "uneducated" like someone pointed out.

Maybe your definition of "uneducated" is different than mine, but I always thought it meant something along the lines of someone not having a ton of schooling.

I'm not saying you cant be intelligent without a college degree. I ALREADY said there is a difference between book smarts and street smarts.

DANIK--You do realize you are bashing on college graduates now with what you said. Call me crazy but I kind of always thought that graduating college was a good thing.

I know plenty of Conservatives that go to school with me. So not all college students are liberal. Of course I live in Utah so that may be a bit different here than most places lol.

The majority of my friends are Independents though...And the majority are voting for Obama. So I just think that Obama as a whole appeals to younger voters (18-35) a heck of alot more than the other two candidates. We dont want someone who is ancient in office and we dont want another Clinton.

I graduated from a very liberal university, as is most places around the DC area. There were far too many people who held extremely simple views all the way up to graduation. The biggest issue in my opinion is that there are tons of groups like those who major in Sociology, Women's Studies, African American studies, etc who hold extremely biased views in whatever they chose to major in. These same groups basically attract those who are looking for something and will find it, regardless of how much evidence is against them. By that I mean those who feel they are a victim of race will turn any statistic they can find into something that will show that. It no longer becomes searching for ways to bring about equality, but a means for a bunch of cry babies to try to turn any issue, no matter how innocent, into an issue of race or gender.

My other issue is that these same people who hold these views have next to no knowledge about the mechanics of how things actually work. Someone in Sociology may make claims about what this nation needs to do for economic equality, but they enter the realm of Economics (my major) and have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Did you see Obama's response to the capital gains tax? The far left would rather drag an entire nation down just so the dumbest and laziest in society get a little bit more? Talk about the first step to destroying an entire nation.

My main issue with liberals and the youth today (my generation and younger) is that far too many of them want change and have no reserve in making outrageous statements about things they do not understand, or even make an attempt to understand. I'm really sick and tired of the "I'll shoot everyone above me in the foot, so I can catch up," attitude.

Fair enough....I recently changed my major and am now majoring in History so I may fall slightly into that category you are talking about lol.

I get what your saying, and I also agree to an extent that alot of "educated" people are simply just morons with a piece of paper claiming they are something special.

However on the flip side I also think that it should be applauded when someone works hard and gets a degree, and they shouldn't be called idiots.

I would personally prefer to live in a nation with MANY college grads as opposed to FEW college grads. Im not saying there is anything even remotely wrong with not going to college...Its just not for everyone. I mean my Grandfather is my hero and he didnt even graduate high school. Im just saying that the more educated our nation I think the better off we are.

In regards to Obama, the point I was simply trying to make is that someone called his supporters "UN-EDUCATED" and I was pointing out the truth, which is that most of his supporters are actually educated people.

I didnt say they were smarter than everyone else, simply EDUCATED. There is a difference.

Just because someone may be illiterate does not mean they are not capable of deciding who they want to see in Office.

If most blacks will vote for Obama because he is black, then most women would vote for Hillary because she is a woman.

Obama probably is a qualified candidate who will be voted in by qualified individuals, I don't think skin color has anything to do with it.

oh please. what utopia are you living in? if only everyone voted on the qualities and experience of an individual. i believe that white women if they saw that hillary was a worse candidate than obama in both experience, knowledge and leadership...would vote for obama.

however, fill those same circumstances in a black individual (specifically here down south with these black power brick heads), they still would vote obama...even if it was one of them (illiterate, etc) they would vote for them....

of course i am not saying every african american is like this. for, living out west, i know that the african american out there is much different than that which lives down here. out in the west, i don't even consider race when confronted with someone who is black....

why? because they compose and take care of themselves better, are more educated and most importantly...more assimilated. the individuals down here (haven't been down here long enough to see whether its their fault alone, i am guessing partly) have this disgusting long hair, dress ridiculous and just look straight out bum. now, you wonder why they don't succeed up the ladder and you also wonder why they have such hate for us white folk? maybe if they would drop this lil' wayne bull crap down here, they would be able to get somewhere.

my point is, these individuals, yes it is there right to vote...however, sometimes i wonder whether i want them to be able to have that right b/c they aren't making rational decisions or thinking about what is best for this country, rather what is best for "black power"
