Bear in mind...
Bush has dealt with Abu Ghraib, the lack of WMDs discovered in Iraq, the 9/11 Commission Report, and the Senate Intelligence Committee report just in the last two months.
During that time, his polls have dropped. Slightly. The MAJORITY of the surveys used to compile this map in states where one or the other candidate is leading slightly or is tied have margins of errors greater than the difference between the candidates.
Kerry has had a major convention to promote his campaign, while all the time the Bush campaign has been taking hits on the war. In spite of this, he STILL doesn't have a commanding lead.
This is ANYONE's race to win or lose.
And, Bush still has the convention in NYC....
Let's see how many missteps (sensitive war, flip flopping positions, war skeletons, etc.) Kerry will make between now and November.
I know y'all want to feel like everyone agrees with you...but that isn't the case.
