Isn't it Interesting? In the eight weeks or so I've been here, I've read that Obama is tanking, losing, going to lose to clinton, on thread after thread; the day after all of those crystal ball readings are revealed as utterly proven nonsense, it's really quiet here.

Now, I understand, their is a factor called "Real life" that impacts the day-to-day events on a message board, but it's pretty revealing that those who were so very sure this thing would go to Clinton found something else to do with their down time than visit this site.

This is harbinger of things to come. Weeks on weeks of trash, and then when a little thing called "actual people" making "actual votes" things will quiet down.

We are witnessing an end to an age of incredbily nasty, petty politics, folks.


And it's just in time, because this country has a lot of work to do.

So true. Couldnt have said it better. Its a friggin ghost town. After all the threads saying "Clinton up by 7 points in NC" and "Clinton expected to blow Obama out in Indiana" are shown to be insignificant, we get the last laugh.

Also went out and bought/read "The Audacity of Hope" and "Dreams from my Father". Really good stuff. I liked the feeling in "Dreams", like you were rushing towards this race. Hes a great writer, very entertaining. Certainly puts the lie to that 'what do we know about this guy' from awhile back. You guys read them?

Conservatives are afraid of this nomination ending because they know McCain doesn't stand a chance against Obama.
