But on the level of Hitler? I wouldn't go that far.

Whatever Wilson's flaws, comparing him to Hitler involves quite a bit of suspension of disbelief... especially for the emotional trigger that most people are hoping for when they compare others to Hitler.
BTW Bush has an extremely Wilsonian ideology, far more than Obama's.

While, yea Bush does seem to want to make the world "safe for democracy" and "spread democracy". He never did seem one to go with nation building. It seemed he literally expected to be up and out of Iraq within days. He never really had plan for post-Iraq War. The nation building aspect just kind of happened.

Nonetheless, Bush still sucks.

Hitler did hate the Jews and want to get rid of them for being capitalists. I'm not saying that Wilson, FDR, and Obama want to do that, but almost everything else is the same, just in different countries. Hitler represented German Fascism; Wilson, FDR, and Obama represent the American equivalent, which is not anti-Semitic, and does have some other differences. However, I find the most disturbing thing not the socialism present in Obama's speeches, but his blatant racism. Even more disturbing, it is of the anti-Semitic kind, because he supports affirmative action programs that discriminate against Jews, whites, and Asians.

Bush is extremely Wilsonian, and that's why I and many other conservatives hate him. He also shows signs of supporting Bismarkian, top-down socialism. I see no reason not to hate him. He sucks, way to liberal.
