Default Colorado Superdelegates slap Obama in the face

Quote:
Democrats in Colorado's congressional delegation who've yet to pledge their superdelegate vote stayed uncommitted Wednesday after the latest primaries.

"I don't think it's up to the superdelegates to make a decision," said Rep. John Salazar, a Manassa Democrat. "It's up to the people of this country."

Salazar; his brother, Sen. Ken Salazar; and Rep. Mark Udall of Eldorado Springs haven't picked between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama. All three said they want to wait until after the final primary on June 3.

Mathematically, it's almost impossible for either Obama or Clinton to reach the number of needed delegates for the nomination without the superdelegates.
The only thing that ends on June 5th is primary voting. After that the credentials committee meets to move the goalposts; then the Clinton machine goes in high gear until the state roll call in Denver and then the nomination is given to Hillary.

Hillary's superdelegate lead is down to 8. That's a 6 superdelegate swing in less than one week.

Superdelegates don't have to decide before that date - there is nothing wrong with waiting until the last minute to vote, they're bound to nothing but the Democrat Party.

Yep, nominating him is putting up George McGovern '72 all over again - Hillary would actually have a chance at winning, but they can't see past the DNC. Come to think of it, Juan McCain doesn't make a bad body double for Richard Nixon.

Nixon was actually one of our better presidents - it's a shame he's known for "I am NOT a crook!"

Hillary's superdelegate lead now down to 4.

Wow thats nuts. If Nixon had cured cancer and then robbed a convience store the latter would still be his legacy! if anything he showed the rest of them (Republicans) how to get away with it the next time around.

This guy is clueless about the Constitution and the electoral process. But he's a democrat, so what do you expect?

Dude, your ignorance is showing!
Nixon got us out of Vietname and was a great president but for the one faux Paus that everyone remembers him for. It is ironic that people like you would protest my characterizing Clinton as an asleep at the wheel skirt chaser, but you take one indiscretion of Nixon's and brand him in EAXCTLY the same way!!!

Can you say Hypocrit?
