His health care plan alone would bloat government to the tune of $50-65 BILLION dollars A YEAR
His little "green energy" plan will cost 150 BILLION
He wants to establish an infrastruture investment bank for 60 BILLION

All in all...Obama will cost the US over $800 BILLION dollars in brand new government programs.

His version of fixing "big government" is like someone selling their Toyota Celica, because they can't afford the payments, and then turning around and buying a tricked-out Lexus instead.

All of that can be paid for with funds diverted out of Iraq. Over 4 years, we'll save enough money by leaving Iraq to pay for all that and have money left over. If you want to whine about new government spending, try whining about the 3 TRILLION dollars down the drain in Iraq.

Obama is not really going to pull out of Iraq. He is just saying that because he thinks he has a better chance of getting elected if he attacks Bush's decisions. He knows it is idiotic, and if you read between the lines of what he says, you can tell that he has several excuses for staying there because he knows it would be a bad decision to pull out. Now think about the 3 trillion dollars, PLUS the billions more.

so many posters exhibit their ignorance about what Obama actually proposes to do. i recognize it would be a novel approach for some of our wing nuts to rely on facts rather than their neocon drivel, but should you want to know what Obama actually stands for, here is the site where he tells you his plans:

Default You don't what you are talking about!

Obama's proposal is truely not a tax hike. A true tax hike is when you pay 8.25% in taxes, and he raises it to 10%. If president bush cuts the taxes of higher earners with without cutting all tax brackets, then is not helping everyone. It is only helping those people at the top. I don't care about the higher income earners because they don't care about us. Why should they get a tax break when the lower income earners don't get any thing. I make around 70,000.

Look on page 50 of that blueprint and you will see that he says "I will finish the fight against Al Qaeda" and that "He will end the war responsibly by bringing our troops home within 16 months" on the same page. Do you really think that he means to surrender completely against Al Qaeda or to finish them off in 16 months? Both of those seem impractical, and they are within 3 sentences of each other. And I am not a neo-con, I am a true conservative, who believes firmly in everyone's right to life, liberty, and property.
