Comprehensive Reform
Barack Obama has fought for comprehensive immigration reform that secures our border, fixes our broken
immigration bureaucracy and puts the 12 million undocumented immigrants on a responsible path to
citizenship.

I thought he heard the people ??? no to citizenship for illegal aliens

Remove Incentives to Enter Illegally
Obama will remove incentives to enter the country illegally by cracking down on employers who hire
undocumented immigrants.

Bring People Out of the Shadows
Obama supports a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine,
learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens.
bull(*)(*)(*)(*) not the way the people want it!

Well, considering the main threat from Al Qaeda is in Afghanistan, I don't see why we can't pull out of Iraq and then go finish off Al Qaeda.

Ever heard of Al Qaeda in Iraq? Even Obama has said he would stay in Iraq is Al Qaeda in Iraq formed a base in Iraq (Obama logic for ya!)

Since Bush actually supports Al Qaeda, I really don't see your point. Was he really concerned when the airplanes went into those two skyscrapers? Or was he reading a stupid book to school children why humans were dying. I don't trust him with our National Security. If McCain wins some way, the earth will be scorched. Wars of great magnitudes, and a newly owned american by foreign powers will be what america turns into. China will own us. You can go ahead and get mad at Obama, but you will pay with peace of mind. Hopefully, the children of Republicans wll be old enough to fight the never ending future wars over power and energy. You can't have my son.

Im sorry but 100,000 dollars a year is at the very least UPPER middle class. I have NO problem with taxes on those making that much being raised a little bit.

The average HOUSEHOLD in the U.S. is bringing in 35-45 grand per year. Thats HOUSEHOLD not PERSON.

Clearly anyone making 200,000 or above is well off or rich and they can afford it.

I'm pursuing a masters in history. I still have years left before I graduate. Unless I decide to try to become a Professor some day I bet ill NEVER end up making 6 figures a year.

I would consider myself well off if I was.

My Dad was a Cop for 20 years and never came close to even approaching 6 figures a year. Yet we always had food on the table, my Christmas and birthday presents were always really nice, we had a pretty decent sized house, I got a car when I was 16 and both my parents each had fairly decent cars as well. Oh and we lived in a fairly decent area.

And I always kind of considered us to be upper middle class. Most my Dad was ever probably making was 50-60 grand a year.

Maybe I just have low standards, but 6 figures to me and money isnt an issue anymore in life, unless you are greedy.

One thing a lot of you do not understand.

A good number of those at 100k a year are the small business owner. Tax the hell out of them, and they are less likely to hire more people. Lower tax and they can afford more workers. More workers more jobs.

Also, why should the rich have to pay more? Sure they can afford it. But do they somehow deserve less of their money because they have more of it? They work for their money just like everyone else.

Interviewer:- Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?
You're equipping them to become violent killers.

Jones:- Well, you're equipped to be a prostitute but you're not one are you?

Ill admit that no I dont know what its like to make that sort of money. I know that if I was making that sort of money my life would be A LOT easier. (My wife is a RN and I do ok... so we arent struggling or anything).

Yeah I understand what you are saying about the small business owners. Implement some sort of tax breaks for them or something. Clearly im sure something could be done to protect them.

As far as taxing the rich more....Yeah I DO think they should be taxed more than the poor. I agree that they work for their money, and im not saying that they dont deserve their money, but quite frankly the government needs to get their money from somewhere and people making 25,000 a year certainly cant foot that bill.

Im generally a fan of lower taxes and MUCH lower government spending then we currently see. Do those things and you could lower taxes to begin with. However that clearly isnt going to happen, and since our government is tax happy if your going to get that money it has to come from somewhere. You tax the poor too much and they end up on welfare and you just go from one problem to another one. Tax the middle class too high and they end up poor. But tax the rich more and they are STILL rich, just not as rich as maybe they would like to be.

Im not saying they deserve it more than the poor. In most cases the rich worked really hard to get where they are. Its a simple matter of them being ABLE to pay more.
