Yes it does.
Neither of them can win period without being picked by the Superdelegates or one of them dropping out. Hillary's base is rather broad and workable in the realities of a General Election against McCain. Obama's are not outside of a Far Left College full of Blacks.

I doesn't really at this point DuH, as even if he got 100% of pledged from now on he can't win by that alone- been that way since around Texas. If you're suggesting that the system is unfortunately undemocratic you're right, but if the supers go with whoever gets the majority of pledged, then it works out democratically anyway. It'll happen, he'll get 33 more pledged by the 20th, and that'll be it.
Heh, Obama has far more support than just College educated and black people, we all know this primary season can more accurately depict voter enthusiasm than hard numbers that are going to translate into the GE- its just too distorted by Hillary's presence and campaign heat-of-the-moment, its different when her supporters will have to choose between Obama and McCain. 160 delegates to go, plus they're starting their 'vote-for-change' national campaign to regester people right up to the GE. I'm audibly confident. Oh and so much for being "Far Left": "...Nor can America compete simply by erecting trade barriers and raising the minimum wage- unless we're willing to confiscate all the world's computers." -The Audacity of Hope, pg.158, 2008 edition, The Text Publishing Company. Maybe I'm reading that sentence wrong, maybe hes far left and a hawk. |

Silly me I figured the party of the people and every vote counts would prefer the popular vote..
How quaint huh! Don't forget Michigan and Florida. That is not even close to being over. As long as those two states are in play as they are Clinton has no reason to and never will quit. All the way to the convention. In the general election McCain has much much more support amongst whites and hispanics as a general rule. IOW he has the majority and the majority minority against Obama. That could play a big factor in California and perhaps a win in New Jersey. He also has support of more of the various denominations in US politics. Obama has 3 in comparison. McCain has a very distinguished past. Obama has a 20 year affair with a racist pastor. Oh and lets not forget shall we about the fact that a good 20-35% of Clinton voters won't vote for him in virtually every state that has a had a primary. He gets 80-90% of Black votes. While that propels him in the Democrats Nomination process it is a minority minority in the states where he gets alot of that vote ..(Mississippi, South Carolina, etc) they wil go McCain. Even you know that. If he was as white as Kucinich he'd be where Kucinich is now. Issues!.... c'mon Obama is a train wreck of higher taxes, socialist BS, idealistic big government baloney, defeat, surrender, talk, appease,..you name it the guy is a walking ad for Far Left College Monthly. President John McCain by 300+ ECV's ![]()
