Yes, I'm afraid he is - but so was Bill Clinton and Bush 41, so it can't all be bad!

My problem with left-handed people is that they are clumsy because they have to use the wrong hand - the exception being a MLB pitcher, of course.

Actually Edwards did not sue the Docs his clients did that he was just the agent for them. Again I say to you Edwards is a trial lawyer he facilitates suits. If he manged to bamboozle a jury of stupidtons is that his fault ?? We have a jury system that demands the command slugs sit on cases where scientific, technical, or complex financial arguements are presented. If 2/3 of a jury think that a Chromosomes is the area of the car whell inside the tire what do you expect!!!!??

How many cases CP caused by Docs did he win ? I don't know tell us.
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
from the Legal Times
August 4, 2004:

"Calling the defendant to the stand as a witness for the plaintiff was a huge risk. If Edwards was unable to get the woman to recount the series of errors alleged in his opening statement, he essentially would be doing the defense team's work for them.

The gamble worked: The nurse confirmed nearly all the mistakes alleged against the hospital staff in the case. Three weeks later, Edwards and the defendants negotiated a confidential settlement before the jury returned a verdict. "He did a lot of damage," says James Cooney III, one of the defense lawyers in the 1994 case. "We couldn't do any cross-examination with her. She was just done after Edwards was done with her"

THE GUY IS GOOD THAT IS IT!!!

Sure. Edwards had to wait to make sure he was throwing his support behind the one who was actually going to get the nomination. I'm sure he's been promised a VP slot. After all----Obama need the "good ole southern boys" support. AND he thinks he'll get it through Edwards.

And, it's perfectly obvious to anyone Edwards is just securing a cabinet position or possible v.p. If clinton was the presumptive nominee, he would have endorsed her.
I think Edwards was waiting for some kind of goodie bag, the one (Obama or Hillary) that offered him the most, got his endorsement. Same with Bill Richardson, I believe.
IMO, an endorsement from Edwards would be like getting the second use of a condom.
I'm waiting to see who "The Jolly GREEN Giant" (Algore) endorses His will be the last word, you know. <gag>

The malpractice factor is a fairly smALL FACTOR in the cost push that has increased the price of health delivery over the years.

The problems are broad based. Docs/other providers over charging, double charging, charging for things not done etc The laws that were based in most states which force hospitals to take in the u ninsured and then pass the cost down to us insured people.

You wave the flag of the few infamous malpractice cases that do not amount to spit in the overall but get the attention. It's ilke that Mikey D's coffee spill case that got all that attention . It was a very bad initial decision by the jury but it was not the prevenlent case.

Do some research and get your facts straight instead of mouthing off emotional dribble..
Do you deny that doctors have to carry huge amounts of malpractice insurance? My brother-in-law is a retired heart surgeon, he retired early because he refused to pay the out of whack insurance fees. He & other doctors have to do that becaus of ambulance chasing lawyers like Edwards, & there's plenty of them.
