What WOuld Obama Do to bring down the cost of oil and stop its inflationary impact on everything else in the economy? Taxing all of us more hardly seems to be helpful!

What do you mean "what would he do"? In the short run there isn't anything he or anyone else can do. The only thing that will lower prices is more supply, which isn't happening anytime soon, or less demand. We will certainly get less demand at some point, but that will be determined by the market, not Obama.

There is not a lot he, or anyone else can do. The only option is to take steps that would reduce the country's dependence on oil, driving demand down.

Yet you and yours keep on blaming Bush for it! How convenient! It is Bush's fault now, but majically when Obama gets in office it will be an issue the President can do nothing about. Sickening hypocricy!!!

A couple things:

1. Who is me and mine exactly? I'm not sure what you are talking about.
2. I have 12,749 posts on this forum. Please provide a link to ONE where I blamed Bush for high oil prices. And when you can't you may want to admit you have no idea what you are talking about.

You and yours refers to Democratic Party pundits. You are guilty by association!

I assure you it is not I who have no idea what I am talking about!@

I am not a Democrat, I am not a member of the Democratic Party, and I am not a pundit of any kind for any party.

I am still waiting on that link showing where I blamed Bush for the high oil prices. You said I was being hypocritical, but yet you provided no proof.
