Default Can the super delegates still jump ship

There is a post stating that there are 144 left... IF they all voted Clinton can the other superdelegates change over??? I am not sure about that... Can this still be disputed and can Clinton take this to the convention

Sure it can happen. Up until the convention is OVER in Denver in August, the super delegates can go back and forth as much as they want!

And something else, EVEN pledged delegates (you know the ones they won from each state?) THEY can even vote different than their state.

NOTHING is set in stone until AFTER the convention in August.

To all, it won’t happen! No one wins if she drags this to the convention and it destroys any chance she might have after she would help McCain gain the spot! Political suicide!

And why would that happen? You speak with such a convincing tone, installing false hope into the minds of other delusional Clinton supporters. Why would a pledged delegate switch candidates? They would be going against their own people. Why would they do this? I dare you to give me an explanation without the word "assasination" in it.

They can switch if they like.
The only way they'll do this is if Obama has a massive scandal... and not just the "Oh- someone he knows said something racially charged that sounds really nasty when we deliver soundbites of it and frame it like racism!"
I'm talking like a major corruption charge... something that actually matters.

But seeing as that is unlikely they aren't switching over... as switching over would benefit only the Republicans.
Stalling the nomination would basically lead to two really dumb options:
1. Allow McCain a huge headstart in ads
2. Spend money on ads only to switch people at the last minute and void all ads.

And even getting past this, regardless of who the nominee is they have to get people united by November.
You can't do that if it takes till August to decide who the candidate is... especially when the opponent has already gained a massive headstart.

I'm not certain why Clinton isn't bringing an end to her kamikaze supporters yet... I think she's getting bad advice (her strategist is not only a sleze... but an idiot. I really don't understand why she couldn't do better. Was Carville not available?)
