Default General anti-liberal comments

Is anyone tired of hearing Kerry’s “plans” for the future that, more realistically, seem to be mere aspirations? I don’t want a president who lacks the conviction to explain HOW he intends to run the country. I want someone like President Bush who says how, what, when, where, and why. Another sore spot is Michael Moore’s maniacal smear campaign on the Bush camp. He claims to convey truth. Right. Has the entire country been asleep for the past 4 decades? Does the term media awareness mean anything to you?! If you cut and paste the words of this post, you can completely manipulate the meaning. That is exactly what Moore has accomplished with his fictional account of how things are. He reinforces ignorance by taking peoples’ words out of context. In other words, now people without the cognitive faculties to formulate their own opinions can just adhere themselves to HIS ideas and HIS objectives and we can all be numb to the facts. The third thing I want to mention is this: from a socioeconomic perspective, can we really judge how strong our economy is by looking merely at these past three years? Absolutely not. Even without the fallout of September 11th , these figures are meant to be seen in measures of decades—NOT days, months, or years. I say we give our president a break and let him do what he was elected to do.

Right on, here is what I want the president to explain:

- Why are we in Iraq
- When are we going to get out of Iraq
- Where is WMD
- Where are ties to AQ
- Why weren't we greeted as liberators
- Who's going to pay us back hundreds of billions of dollars wasted in Iraq
- Why are we carrinng 90% burden in Iraq both finanically and militarily
- Where is Osama?
- Why has not it been captured yet despite promises to get him "dead or alive"?
- Why are independent sources reporting thate Al-Qaeda is growing?
- Why do we have huge budget/trade deficits
- How are we going to get out of the financial hole and pay off the debt
- What happened to extra 6 million jobs which were suppposed to be created
- Why do new jobs pay less than the previous jobs
- Why do we have the biggest number of foreclosures and bankrupcies.
- Why are the rich getting richer and the middle class is getting poorer and smaller.
- Why did we go from being the most admired nation to being the most despised one in the last 3 years
- Why did not we secure our ports and borders 3 years afer 9/11
- Why do we have 43 million people not covered by health insurance
- Who was involved in writing our energy policy
- Who leaked the name of a CIA agent

I can go on and on but I think it's a good start.

Although I don't have time at the moment, I'll address each one of these questions point by point. But first, give me your definition of middle class first, so when I adress that one - we are talking about the same block. I have seen it defined as $24,000-$80,000. Would you say that's a fair starting point?

To be honest with you my point was not to debate these issues (even though we can certainly do that). Some of them are arguable, some of them are absolutely undeniable.

The point I was making was that the original poster was holding Kerry to a significantly higher standards than the President, that despite his claims that "President Bush says how, what, when, where, and why" there is a huge number of very important issues which Bush did not explain in the past and does not seem to have a plan going forward.
