Default What will you do for my family Mr Obama?

I have a child who will be three years old this July. I decided I would see about getting him into preschool. At three years old my child is like a sponge. He loves to learn new things and interact with the world. At this age You would expect the education system would have space for him. Sadly, no. You see we can only send our children to school for free when they reach 5 years old. SO I have 2 years to wait before my son can get an education he needs. Yes we have head start for three year olds; SO I contacted them. I have a family of 3 with a gross income of 30k. This income I can barely support my family with the economic conditions as they are. I was told that I make over the gross income of 17K so my son cannot get assistance for school. My question for Mr Obama is What will he do to help children at a young age get the education they deserve, and what will he do to make sure as a child grows through his education that the curriculum is appropriate on a child per child basis. Mr Obama calls this a campaign of change, I hope the change is not a democrat in the middle east, and instead a change of focus on family and our national economy.

He'll raise your taxes, since you are "rich".

Actually, for that poster he'd lower their taxes. He'll raise taxes on folks in the top income brackets of the country, starting at $250,000 if I'm not mistaken.

Empty rhetoric fails again!

You are mistaken.

Obama is in favor of raising taxes on the top 50% of wage earners, and the median income level is around $29k per year.

Once again, facts trump empty rhetoric.

He only wants to raise taxes on the people that actually pay it....

...oh yea that's everyone that makes $30k or more...

But it's for a good cause, it's for everyone that doesn't pay taxes...

Uh... where in the source I linked does it say that? You're just flat-out lying at this point.

You should decrease your spending and cut out on things you don't need. You can afford to send your child to preschool if you wished. You have to make sacrifices. There are people who make under 17k/year and can afford to send their child to preschool. I am beginning to agree with the conseratives about these government handouts and free everything.
