You're right Obama would do better there DuH. Just wanted to chime in with the strangeness of you guys talking about healthcare, also having seen Sicko...I know our system isn't perfect, but its really nice to know if something happens to me I should be ok.

Edit: Oh and nice Dali. If only the great masters had done political cartoons the ends of your posts wouldn't be so grating. :P

It was the 2000 republican primary. Bush, or rather Karl Rove, made up rumors (similar to this 'whitey ghost tape' rumor) and aggressively attacked Mccain so he could win the primary. Ever since, then, Mccain has been the republican's (*)(*)(*)(*)(*). Though he used to be an independent.

Of course, thats not why he wants to start another war in Iran. Thats just cause he doesn't value human life, like Bush!

Lincoln-Douglass are obviously preferred by the Obama crowd because basically it allows his to give a flowery speech while avoiding questions.

For those who do not know what their format was for the Lincoln-Douglass "debates"

Each debate had this format: one candidate spoke for an hour, then the other candidate spoke for an hour and a half, and then the first candidate was allowed a half hour "rejoinder." The candidates alternated speaking first. As the incumbent, Douglas spoke first in four of the debates.

Basically its a LONG speech, then a long speech, and finally a long speech...zzzz

(Oh and I'm not going to vote for the lil runt...If thats not obvious )
A mix of the two formats would be good I think.

*edit* Nice Dali.

Obama has not even been given a chance to set up his general campaign. He won the nomination just days ago, DUH, please give Sen. Obama a chance to shift his focus before you criticize him for not accepting a pre-emptive invitation by McBush

Have you been living under a rock the last few months?? Moderate??!!!!!

With Wright, Ayers, Farrakhan, etc., etc.,..... Those are his beliefs. If you want to judge one's true character, you can look at their associations, their church, etc. Don't be fooled by the face he is NOW putting on now that he's running for office. Yeah, NOW he ditches his pastor & Farrakhan and NOW he has even taken to wearing that dumb flag lapel pin. He's pure politics. But there ain't NOTHING moderate about him! pLeeeeze. You can make some other arguments but you can't make that one... not without getting laughed at.

BS. You've been telling everybody that for months. It's not true. Obama has his beliefs, which he dictates.

Not a clintonian troll with a mouth full of sour grapes.

I debunked this fallacious garbage before you even knew what you were saying.

Guilt-by-association is fallacious. You want to judge somebody? Tell me what they, themselves, thought about invading a country that wasn't a threat to us.

McCain and Clinton were on the wrong side of that issue.

Obama isn't his pastor, and he has no connection to Farrakan.

Clinton supporters can't possibly understand the volume of irony in statements like these, coming from them.

Keep Laughing.

You supported, (supposedly) the candidate who wanted socialized medicine. Who was a flipflopper on guns, civil liberties, taxes, and nearly every issue that matters.

That's why she lost.

We beat Clinton. McCain is like soft butter compared to her.

Who's laughing now?
