still waiting for somebody to put there money where there mouth is. if you all like mccain, lets make a bet. you can send me a private message and we can arrange to hold the cash with a mod.

and it doesnt matter if the threads are positive or negative. fact of the matter is people who are supporting mccain arnt able to even post any threads with reasoning on why they are voting him. instead, they create threads about how you should be scared of obama. scare tactic ive seen in my years in the media, means you're desperately attempting to change an outcome that looks sure at the moment: an obama victory.

OK, step right up folks, Tropolis is giving 7 to 1 odds that Obama can't possibly win the General Election. Minimum bets are $1000, make the check payable to 'BillyBob's Bass Boat Fund'.

We could share it, you know.

I don't think so. Y'all bet all you want, leave me out of it.

You might look harder. Duh posted quite a few pro-McCain threads when McCain first got the nom. They didn't make for a lively thread because there was not much argument. On the other hand, look at the Barack supporters who complain the lack of threads in support of Barack.... blind to the irony, I guess.

Then again, McCain was not the first choice of most of the conservatives. To be blunt, one of the main reasons to vote for McCain is to vote against the liberal. I happen to like McCain in spite of the times I've disagreed with him.

An outcome that depends on smoke and mirrors, IMO... Thread after thread attempting to look past the white teeth and platitudes.

Why would I bet? I'm hoping that neither Obama or McCain win.

Of course everyone knows McCain's record, at least since he started running for president - it's the same one Bush has been playing for the past 7 years.

If McCain is going to be just like Bush, he'll get my vote. He'll be a hundred times better than Obama.
