McCain's first wife tells you in the article that her accident wasn't the reason for their divorce. So, why make up stories?

He obviously fell in love with someone else. It happens. Most likely things changed for them while he was away so long. It happens.

I give everyone a pass on their first divorce, especially this one since mcCain was a POW for most of their marriage, and she doesn't have anything bad to say about him.
