OK. So he had a single mother, was half-black and half-white, had to work hard to get the scholarship, had to work to pay off student loans, fought his way up through the tough Chicago political scene to get where he is today, and now has every mullet-wearing radical racist in the country making up stuff about him, about his wife, and soon -- no doubt -- about his two daughters.
But what else has he had to overcome? NOTHING! Oh, except for all the stuff thrown at him in the primary from all sides, the people who wanted to smear him about 30-seconds worth of things his preacher said over a 20-year relationship, the fact that he and several REPUBLICANS sat on a charity board of directors with a TERRORIST (who was never convicted of anything) and all the stuff about having sex and cocaine with an unwashed, fugitive hobo.
But other than THAT???
