So no, it's not accurate. At all. Thats obvious by just looking at the map.

Obama is the 2008 version of McGovern, so the map is very accurate.

I am serious. Obama may do slightly better than McGovern, who was running against an incumbent, but this will be a landslide, proving the Democrats will never learn.

Polls are meaningless now, these same people used to say they were sure it would be a Clinton v. Giuliani race.

Maybe so, he's either that or the 2008 version of Mike Dukakis - an open seat and all. I expect the final EC map to be somewhere in between that one and the 1972 one.
