Wikipedia is a conglomeration of definitions people think up off the top of their heads or pull from other parts of their anatomy! No credibility.

This is the most hilarious thing I've read all day.
You are pointing out the flaws of Wikipedia (as all sides do when it helps a different side) to completely strike down a point... despite Wikipedia providing links to most of its points and having some self-corrective abilities on issues (usually dependent on the hotness of the topic... less "important" topics don't get a lot of attention... but on a current political candidate- come on)...

So OK Wikipedia has its problems...
But while you point this out- you're uncritically accepting pure political propaganda!

Political propaganda is okay so long as it comes from 100% biased and spun sources rather than a wiki model that might have some amount of balance?!

Of course later we'll see this countered with "conservapedia", the wiki with an ideological litmus test because conservatives don't like to bother having their ideas scrutinized by liberals and countered by liberals...

yea. thats why i said its hands down so far the dumbest post of today. wiki is the most unbiased source of info you can get. if he doesnt want to sit down and read it which lists his accomplishments instead of waiting for somebody to copy and paste it, too bad for him.

As you can see, it really doesn't matter which one of these idiots gets elected president. Either way, the country is going to suffer.

I understand that some people are wiki-pessimists. Personally while I wouldn't trust wiki 100%, even though I'm an overall optimist about the model (provided it doesn't limit points of view and thus become meaningful only as "what Group X believe"- ie conservapedia).

But what strikes me isn't the pessimism about wiki, but having both that and trust in pure spin sites. It would be like if I complained about the New York Post but got all my info from the Daily KOS.
