1 Mccain at the time of his 100 year comment clarified the reason and the situation.
2 That child would be about 9 or 10 max when McCain's term would end.
3 Everyone knows moveon is insane so nobody will take this serious.

The child would be able to serve within the next 100 years, though right? That's what I thought. However, McCain has in fact clarified his position (and changed it frequently), but his latest figure is far short of 100 years.

Moveon can be insane, but they also report some news that nobody else does, and I will give them credit for that.

There's still troops in Germany, Korea, Japan..... maybe Alex will go to one of those places instead. I doubt it though, with a bleeding heart mom like that it's unlikely he'll have the necessary equipment to serve in the armed forces.

what a fool ad. thought they had reached the pits with that one that shows that girl about to make out with some guy she'd met at a bar. things get hot then she sees a mcain button, freaks out, and away runs saying she only does it with democrats. you can tell a man made that every woman i know would ask fhim first how he voted if that was such a big deal.

this moveon ad is even worse, but as someone else said, it's a moveon ad. some 527 should make one of a mother telling her little girl not to vote for obama because then her wardrobe would consist of only burkas.

McCain never had to clearify his statement b/c at the time he made it he put it into context. Yes the kid could serve in a 100 year span but not under a McCain presidency plus McCain nor anyoneelse I know of advocating a draft.

I'm pretty sure Newt Gingrich took the cake this past Sunday when he said Obama and his policies would cost us another American city.

I wasn't aware that we lost a city in a terrorist attack unless you consider Katrina an Islamo-facist, and even then New Orleans is still there.

this ad is tailored to white married women, moveon know they are flocking to mccain so they want to scare us back. being the sexists that they are, they don't think women can grasp the concept of an all-volunteer military.
