The truth is, he was given $100,000 to take a lie detector test with the promise of $1,000,000 if he passed. He didn't. He's a liar. And the people who keep this filthy smear alive are guilty of helping this fugitive from justice perpetuate a lie.

Go look in the mirror. You will see one of the accomplices.

No. He was promised 100K if he passed. They then failed to do everything they promised. They did not post the video of it either as they said they were going to do. I don't know where you heard that about the $1MM!

But the had 100,000 reasons not to have him pass. In any event, lie detector tests prove 0. There is a reason they are not allowed in court.

But let me ask you a question: If it's a lie, as you say, why isn't obama suing for a restraining order to stop him from spreading the "lie" ?

My words on this forum were cited on his blog.

Somebody, hmmm, cited me there:

POLITICAL FORUM

Political Forum > General Political Chat > Elections & Campaigns Larry Sinclair sues Obama

f0ca1 writes:

“There’s no proof of this, at all…

The guy (Larry) failed the polygraph…

In case we needed proof that Clintonistas were desperate.”
I found this in a google search...

So, I responded...

Quote:
Since my words have been cited here, I thought I’d jump in.

There is still no proof of this beyond the one person’s accusation.
Then, somebody jumped in with this to say, presumably the guy himself:
Quote:
And may I ask what words those were and if you say your words were cited here, why can’t you say who you are? I see where you are posting from, but I would prefer you state what words were cited here that are yours? Form the last part of your comment can I safely assume you are Mr. Colmes? LS

http://larrysinclair0926.wordpress.c...-step-forward/

Uh...

Who the hell is Mr. Colmes?

It certainly isn't me.

Weird, wild stuff.

The guy failed a polygraph, and has no other proof at all for his accusations.

Because he's a public official. They are not protected from "libel" and "slander" to the same degree we are.

Look... you are certainly free to post whatever garbage you care to post. But this is tawdry and tiresome.

You choose to believe a criminal over a United States Senator.

Public records and court filings reveal that Sinclair has a 27-year criminal record, with a specialty in crimes involving deceit. The record includes forgery charges in two states, one of which drew Sinclair a 16-year jail sentence. The Pueblo County, Colorado, Sheriff's Office also has an outstanding warrant for Sinclair's arrest for forging an acquaintance's signature and stealing her tax refunds.

Now, reasonable people -- even those who would never vote for Obama -- see this as what it is. A con trying to make a dishonest buck.

If you choose to continue to spread this garbage, then you are just as bad... except that YOU are doing it for FREE. So, that's even WORSE!

BUSTED!!!

http://reason.com/blog/show/127093.html

Quote:
The second Sinclair stopped taking questions, he fled the room and reporters were denied access to anyone but Sibley. I was a little disappointed until I heard the reason. Larry Sinclair was arrested after the press conference and is being held by the Washington, D.C. metropolitan police.
Here's the warrant!

Politico had a thing or two to say about this liar this morning.

Quote:
He was first arrested on a larceny charge in 1981 in Denver, according to his Colorado arrest record, as filed in federal court. In 1985, he was convicted of theft and of forging a check in Florida, and sentenced to a year in jail, according to Florida records filed in federal court.

After the Florida episode, according to the records, he returned to Colorado, where he faced check fraud and credit card charges in 1986. Then, in 1987, he was convicted in Colorado on more serious forgery charges, and sentenced to 16 years in jail.

In prison, according to state records filed in federal court, Sinclair was disciplined 97 times for infractions including assault, threats, drug possession, intimidation, and verbal abuse, most recently in
1996.

"He has not institutionalized well," a spokeswoman for the Colorado Department of Corrections, Liz McDonough, told the Denver Post in 1996 after a month-long Sinclair hunger strike. She said he had served time in prisons in Buena Vista, Delta, Limon and Canon City before being transferred to the state's maximum security penitentiary in 1993.

In the summer of 1996, according to Colorado's state court database, he began proceedings to formally change his name from LA Rye Viz. Avila to Larry Wayne Sinclair. By 1999, according to a mention in a local newspaper, he was out of jail and living in Pueblo, Colo.

The Public Citizen investigator in Colorado stated that Sinclair's outstanding legal troubles there appear to date from 2001, and that Sinclair's effort to convince the judge in 2004 to dismiss those charges failed. The Pueblo County Sheriff's website, which pictures Sinclair under the word "Wanted," cites felony theft and forgery charges.

Sinclair was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in South Carolina last September, according to state records filed in federal court.

Not to the same degree, no. But it is still actionable. Especially where there is proven malice. I'd say that that is the case here. Larry Sinclair, if he's lying, is doing so with malice and that is clear. You cannot go around making slanderous statements that have absolutely no truth with impunity about famous people. That is a misconception.

Now if your argument was that Obama did not want to give this more publicity, then that is a better argument.

I am not perpetuating the rumor. I am one of many who are not convinced its just a lie, unlike you. You are an ardent supporter so naturally you are going to support him. I just want more information and then I'll make up my own mind.

I have an open mind and I'd like to know why the media is trying so hard NOT to pay attention.

Do the math...

1. Con man with a history of deceit schemes.
2. Fails lie detector.
3. Fugitive from justice (until tonight, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant).

Do YOU believe it's true? That makes one of you.

Now, as it seems that EVERY POST of yours has SOMETHING to do with spreading falsehoods about Obama, I would be interested in seeing if you wish to -- or CAN -- discuss any other topic.
