Really? I was watching the today show this morning at 7 AM and Marideth (sp?) said Barack held a 15 point lead over McCain among registered voters in the US.

I believe the article f0ca1 was referring about the 100 million to was about projections for June...

The article you've posted is in regards to May fundraising.

I'm sure Obama has good reasons for rejecting Public Financing, and maybe, just maybe he has 100 million of them.

No, my young friend, you're not right. Note that "June" is a different month than "May," and that a significant change happened during the former: Obama became the nominee.

Moreover, Obama still raised more than McCain in May.

More people wanted him to defeat Hillary than want him to defeat McCain would be my guess. Either that or all those poor people who sent him $5 or $10 just can't afford to do so again.

As for Mccain...maybe the Republicans are tired of hearing about Obama raised so much money so they are now sending McCain donations in little amounts.

Or maybe the public is just beginning to realize that what Obama says and what he does are two entirely different things and some of the "blush" is wearing away from the "rose".

That's what you get for not doing your homework.

That was a Newsweek poll, and their Managing Editor is a huge liberal. He's on record as admitting he wanted Kerry to win in 2004
http://www.mediaresearch.org/cyberal...20040712.asp#1

Brit Hume made this comment in the 2000 election:

“I think if Newsweek took a poll of the Bush family, Gore would win.”

If you actually read the Newsweek poll internals here:

http://www.newsweek.com/id/142469

You would see that they polled 36% Dems, 35% Independents, and only 27% Republicans.

This Gallup Poll is more in line with reality.

Usually the Democrat has a huge lead at this poiunt, and then the gap closes as people actually begin to understand what the Democrat stands for.

Obama hs no such lead, and is in big, big trouble.

Note that Obama won mostly Caucus states, not Primary states except where there was a very large black population. Oregon, Montana, and South Dakota came on dates after it was obvious that Clinton could not win, mathmatically.

I love how he refutes your outrageous claim, and then you try and justify your lie...again.
