Default Barack Obama Raises A Pathetic $21 million in the month of May....lmao

Quote:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Barack Obama raised $21.9 million in May, his campaign reported on Friday, a day after the Democratic candidate said he would reject public financing for his presidential bid.

McCain's campaign said on Friday he raised almost as much in May -- $21.5 million. He spent $11.6 million and ended the month owing $1.27 million, with $31.5 million in the bank, up $10 million from the end of April. During the primary season, he raised $96 million.

Obama's fundraising figure for May is less than the $30.7 million he raised in April. At the end of that month, he had $46.6 million in the bank, with debts of $2 million.

His campaign has racked up record-breaking fundraising numbers in a presidential run that will be the most expensive in U.S. history.

It raised about $36 million in January, $55 million in February and more than $42 million in March.

Obama is the first U.S. presidential candidate to bypass the public financing system since it was created after the Watergate scandal in the mid-1970s.

He built a formidable grass-roots financial machine during his primary battle against Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, raising more than $265 million from more than 1.5 million donors, many of whom gave in small increments.
what happened to that $100 million...haha. Well f0ca1 it appears I was right. The Hill was way off.

lol, $21 million for the "Messiah." maybe he should reconsider public financing.

Victory for America.

When you consider that he still had to shell out some money to defeat Hillary once and for all, I'm not that surprised.

He shouldn't have lied about his pledge to not take private money.

Now he's screwed.

Let's talk about how much money he has raised in total compared to McCain. What did McCain's fundraising look like in May?

You are all pathetic for thinking one small month is going to cripple his growing momentum.

You really think they won't know that Toby? The people that care so much about the campaign that they maxed out contributions; aren't, at the very least, going to hear about that when the Obama website starst calling for GE donations? Goodluck with that.

You think the conservative fundraising team will just roll over? Pretty soon you'll see loads of cash flying through the loopholes for conservative support, and your "messiah" will be left in the dust. Oh yes, and we'll be that much richer since we actually TOOK the public financing. Obama is a Liar and a Cheat, and you know it.

How can momentum be growing when it's shrinking?

The polls and his growing favorable rating.

Oh...and the fact that he will raise a ton of money before the General...when McCain is struggling to prioritize his debts.

He's down in gthe latest Gallup poll, and his fund raising is down in May.

So how is that growing momentum when he's dropping?
