Default Obama and Clinton: A Sign of Unity

Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton will be campaigning this week. It is the beginning of a unified party that will march towards victory in November

The event will be held in Unity, New Hampshire, where the two candidates for the Democratic Nomination split the votes 50/50.

Quote:
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and his defeated rival Sen. Hillary Clinton Monday announced the location for their first joint appearance — the town of Unity, New Hampshire.

As if the town's name didn't make the message clear enough, the Obama campaign pointed out in announcing the event that the two candidates got the same number of votes when New Hampshire held its primary in January, 107 each.

The Obama campaign calls the event a "Unite for Change Rally."

Another extremely sexist comment! No wonder Hillary didn't stand a chance.

He was being sarcastic. You can't take people's comments seriously on this forum...many times they are so outrageous that the sarcasm is flowing from everywhere.

Hillary understands the realities. She knows she lost fair and square. She knows her future in a Democratic majority is directly tied to Obama's success in this campaign. If her followers don't rally behind Obama, SHE will be blamed and she will lose any opportunity to be taken seriously ever again.

Hmmmmmmmm, what will voters care more about??

Just because Hillary supports Obama now does not mean that her supporters do.

Did anyone NOT expect Hillary to just fall in jackboot step with the DNC, once she got trounced by "The Messiah?" Who else would she support??

Nobody, I guess.

But I agree with you, we all knew that in the end she didn't want to ditch her party.

The question is how Clinton can give lukewarm support to Obama so that he is more likely to lose and not so offend that she can't run in 2012.

I bet Obama does not help her pay off her campaign debt and she can't be happy about losing.

I bet she would rather choke than do this.
