not being the OP, i cannot speak for his reasons to initiate this thread. but i does not seem much different from the various threads which purport to explain that some retarded dictator of a third world country hopes Obama wins the election. you will recognize those posts as the ones which tell us insert-name-evil-despot endorses Obama, as if Obama (1) sought such "support" and (2) touts that "endorsement"
in fact, if anything, this thread is more legitimate because there is a connection between the captor and mKKKain here which connection does not exist in those other "endorsement" threads inflicted upon us by the right wing

So are you're saying that "the Commie's" comments about McCain being someone who he would vote for should be discounted since "commies" shouldn't be believed? and that will make us better Americans?

Well, we know the swiftboaters already said Kerry didn't deserve the purple heart, so while should we bother with any other opinions?

The "swiftboating" of McCain has already begun - go to Google and type in " McCain Forrestal fire", and read the posts about McCain starting the fire onboard the USS Forrestal (CVA-59) that killed 132 sailors.

As far as the Vietnamese torturing McCain - it has been widely reported that McCain is unable to lift his arms higher than his shoulders because of the torture he received by the North Vietnamese. Whether that's true or not, I don't know - but I'll give him the benefit of doubt and believe it is.
